Hey babe, sorry I didn't comment earlier, I have several upside-downness going on in my life at the moment.
As for a shower/bachelorette party, I just say pick a day and time and if people are free, they'll come, if not, too bad for them. You can specify that it's a both thingy if you want, maybe just go out for a meal (book a section if you can and need to), do gifts there, then all go out together afterwards.
I'll have to talk to J about whether I can make it to the party or not. I'll get back to you this week.
