I have updated my Flickr.com page

If anyone ever feels like it, you can check my pics @

http://www.flickr.com/photos/theanykey

To see any of the new ones, or good ones, you have to have a sign in. The majority of my pictures have restricted access to my friends and family.

The link for my photo page is always on this page, somewhere on the right side--->.

Oh, here's a few pix for here, of my new haircut...

And, before you ask, if anyone would have, I didn't get it done at a salon. I actually did it myself.

More out of necessity than anything else, I started just trimming the ends, because they were irrepairably dry. Then, it just became a battle of evening it out, and trimming more because I didn't like the length.

Chris had to help me finish straightening it, especially in the back, because I couldn't take trying anymore!

Besides, if I'd have screwed it up much more, it would have been even shorter!

Here's another pic:

Me, and the greatest guy in the world!

He made me promise he wouldn't have to help when I told him I was going to trim my hair, and then he caved when I begged him to fix it for me... :)

Such a sweetie! He was even really nice about having to cut my hair. He started to ask questions like: "So, how was your day? What have you been up to lately?" just like a real hair dresser! Except he showed a lot more interest than most of my hairdressers ever have.

We ended up having a lot of fun, and we both like my hair like this, so it turned out to be a pretty good day!

And, one more, just for the heckuvit!

This one, I edited in Microsoft Paint, to get rid of the red sores I have all over my face.

You can kind of see them in the picture with Chris, above, but the flash nearly made them invisible!

I need to go talk to the Doctor about them, it's folliculitus, flaring up again. I had it about 5-6 years ago.

More emotionally scarring and self-esteem crushing than anything else.

<--- Notice I am smiling! I am happy.

: )

And to all a goodnight!

Don't forget to vote!

Your hair looks great!! I think its a good length and the way you layered it allows for your natural curl to come out! Way to go, next time I need a trim (which will probably be a long time since I'm shaving my head in less than a month)I'll have to get you and Chris to help me out.

Thanks! It is one of many things I've always wanted to try, and never got around to it. It is harder than I thought to cut the back yourself! Well, at least evenly...

But if you seriously want me or us to trim your hair, sure, why not? At least it's free... and fun, too.

I wanted to grow my hair out to get it cut for cancer, but never had the nerve. Besides, no matter what I do, I always have really dry ends!

And I have a really bumpy head... Not sure how comfortable I would be bald...

Where do you get set up to take pledges for that, anyway? Cancer society?

Chris won't let me cut his hair, though... Not sure why.

Yeah, it's too bad my hair's pretty dry and dead too, and they won't take it to make a wig because it's coloured.

Also, those bumps and hidden birthmarks are started to make me a little nervous, I hope I don't have too many!

The whole event is being planned at Grant MacEwan so it's really easy for me, all I have to do is collect pledges on these sheets that they provide. The actual shaving is taking place on Feb. 10 in the cafeteria at school. If you or anyone you know are interested in pledging me, my Mom has a sheet and is collecting for me. I'll be home on the weekend of the 4th to pick it up from her.

I hope it all goes well, and I'm sure you'll see pictures.

Hey, Chair, we can go together maybe! That would be pretty cool! (I don't know my way around the school anywhere near enough to go alone).

I wouldn't mind coming to visit Edmonchuck again.... seeing as how I WANT TO MOVE BACK NOW!!!!!

Ahem.

So... are you going to take time off work to go?
I don't know what time it is at, but it's on Friday the 10th of Feb...

We could all go for lunch after or something... unless you have to work, and Steph has classes...

Anyway, Yeah!

I think your hair looks fantatic! Good job to you and Chris. Speaking of job, I agree with what BB posted. It's okay to have those feelings. I also believe that things happen for a reason and we all pre chose our lives on earth before we got here. This translates to knowing that we chose the difficulties we face and that our job is to learn from them. The only truly bad experience is the one you didn't learn something from and have to keep repeating.

That would be awesome if you'd pledge! I'm a little nervous, but more excited.
I'd also love it if you want to come watch. It's Feb. 10th at 11:30am and the whole lunch thing sounds cool, but I have class at 12:30 to 4 so it's a no-can-do. Some other time, like the next day if you're in town Blaine would be cool.
